Coaching, taping and classes are based in the Studio City area. - Though during Covid, most coaching are online - (For an extra cost, I may be able to come to you. Email to ask!)
Can I bring my own sides to class?
Most of the time, yes. But students are asked to only work on assigned scenes for their first month studying with us. This is to guarantee that you learn the initial lessons that will come into play as you continue on in our studies. So everyone gets "on the same page," if you will. After that, you are always welcome to bring current auditions or work in to class, with prior approval! I'm here to help you book, after al!.
Will I get to work every week in class?
Absolutely! Classes are kept small in size to allow every student the chance to work every class.
Do you offer class audits?
Of course! (On a very limited basis.) If you want to check out what happens in class, you are welcome to come sit in on one. You must request an audit and be approved ahead of time. Also, you must attend the entire class - arriving late or leaving early is disruptive to your fellow actor. Auditors are asked to observe, but not participate.
What do I need to bring to a coaching?
Two copies of the audition sides, your payment and yourself! More specific information can be found on the COACHING page.
What should I wear to my taping?
In general, patterns and extraneous clothing is distracting. I don't want you to distract from your performance! Also, you should dress AS your character, you should SUGGEST it. Keep that in mind when choosing your outfit. Other than that, feel free to bring some options.
But I don't live in Los Angeles...
No problem! Zoom / Skype coaching is available to people out of town. Just email and we'll arrange something that works for you. Check out the COACHING page for more details.
